Description

Fit it quick is a grid-based spatial puzzle game. Drawing structural inspiration from traditional tile-matching games, it tasks players with placing geometric candy shapes onto a static grid.

The primary objective is to form unbroken horizontal rows or vertical columns across the playing field. Completing a full line instantly clears those squares, freeing up vital space to sustain the puzzle and prevent a grid deadlock.

Core Rules & Tile Manipulation Mechanics
Unlike traditional falling-block titles, Gummy Blocks relies entirely on inventory management and preset tile orientations:

No Piece Rotation: Players cannot rotate or mirror the candy structures. Every block must be placed onto the grid exactly as it appears in the inventory bar.

Batch-Based Inventory: Tiles are delivered at the bottom of the screen in distinct batches of three. The engine will not generate fresh candy shapes until all three current blocks are successfully committed to the grid.

Irreversible Actions: Once a candy tile is placed onto a grid coordinate, it is locked into position and cannot be removed, shifted, or overwritten.

Game Over Condition: The match terminates immediately if the active grid lacks sufficient open, contiguous space to accommodate any of the remaining blocks in your current batch.

Scoring Mechanics & Multipliers
Points are awarded dynamically based on placement footprint and line clearing efficiency:

1. Placement Points
Every single tile placed rewards points directly corresponding to its mass—specifically, the exact number of grid cells the candy shape occupies.

2. Line Clears
Completing a horizontal row or vertical column rewards a baseline of 10 points per cleared line.

3. Combo Multipliers
Clearing multiple rows or columns simultaneously within a single placement grants massive point spikes. Strategic players deliberately set up cascading layouts to trigger multi-line clears at once to maximize high-score efficiency.
