How to Play Ludo Hero Getting started is quick and easy:
Set Up Your Profile: Choose your unique avatar icon and enter your name.
Select Your Mode: Choose between challenging Online Players or practicing against a Bot. Tip: You can see the number of active global players in the lower-left corner of the screen!
Pick Match Size: Select a 2-player or 4-player match, and hit start.
Understanding the Ludo Board Layout The Ludo Hero board is a vibrant, square play space structured like a cross, split into four classic colors: Bright Yellow, Green, Red, and Blue.
Tokens: Each player is assigned a color and receives four tokens.
The Track: Each arm of the cross features three columns, with six squares per column.
Starting Square: Your journey begins on the sixth colored square, located just outside your home column.
Home Column: A path of five colored squares leading directly toward the center.
The Finish Line: The center of the board features a large finishing square made of colored triangles.
Ludo Hero Rules & Gameplay Starting the Match To determine who goes first, every participant rolls the die. The player with the highest number starts the game.
Turns move in a strict clockwise order.
Moving Your Tokens The Magic Six: You must roll a 6 to release a token from your yard onto the starting square.
Making Moves: Once your tokens are on the track, roll the die and click on the token you want to move. Tokens race clockwise around the board.
Rolling a 6: Every time you roll a 6, you get a bonus turn! You can choose to either bring a new token out into the play zone or move an active token 6 spaces forward.
Passing the Turn: If you have no active tokens on the board and roll any number other than a 6, your turn automatically passes to the next player.
Winning the Game Once a token completes a full lap around the board, it enters your colored Home Column. Navigate your tokens into the center triangle. The first player to safely guide all four tokens to the finish line wins the game!
Game Controls Roll: Click the digital die to toss it.
Move: Left-click (or tap on mobile) on the specific token you wish to move based on your roll.
