Description

Subway Surfers is a classic, high-speed endless runner. The gameplay focuses on a continuous escape mechanic where the player character automatically runs away from an inspector and his dog along a high-hazard railway system.
The primary objective is to survive the run as long as possible by navigating a three-lane track, dodging oncoming trains, avoiding static obstacles, and collecting resources. The game ends instantly when the character collides with any physical obstruction.

Core Movement Mechanics

The protagonist moves forward automatically at an accelerating velocity. Directional inputs dictate lane positioning and vertical evasion:
Lane Swapping: Moving left or right to switch between the three parallel tracks.
Vertical Evasion: Jumping over low barriers or onto train roofs, and sliding underneath high overhead hazards.
Hitboxes & Obstacles: Colliding head-on with a barrier or train triggers an immediate Game Over, while minor side-scrapes temporarily slow the character down, bringing the inspector closer.

Dynamic World Generation & Economy

The game utilizes a randomized, procedural generation system. Tracks, obstacles, and item placement are created dynamically during the run, ensuring that no two layouts are identical.

The Coin Economy

Gold coins are scattered fluidly across all three lanes, on top of moving trains, and floating in mid-air paths. Coins serve as the primary currency and are used to unlock:
Single-Use Consumables: Direct utility items used at the start of a run (such as a Headstart boost).
Permanent Performance Upgrades: Upgrades that continuously increase the effective duration of power-ups encountered on the tracks.
